Introducing the New Build Committee!

The Committee members are pupils at the existing Dumfries High School.  The New Build Committee will be visiting the project frequently. The visits start with a project update delivered by the Senior Project Manager Jim, followed by a site walk round. The visits offer the pupils an opportunity to get up close to their new school, ensuring that the pupils feel a genuine connection to their new school, fostering within them a sense of pride and ownership. 

The pupils have a chance to ask the project team lots of questions, and an opportunity to understand more about the different roles that help bring a project to life.  Project subcontractors are also on hand, giving pupils the chance to explore the different trades involved in the industry.
