Ardrossan Project Update (October 2026)

What's been happening?

Over the last four weeks, we've made good progress across the site:

• Finished installing floor slabs in the Central Wing
• Continued foundation works in the Sports Wing
• Made further progress on the new car parks
• Advanced construction of the swimming pool floor and walls
• Installed additional scaffolding, access platforms and safety handrails
• Continued shaping and preparing the outdoor sports pitches
• Progressed external wall construction in the Teaching Wing
• Continued roofing works on the Teaching Wing
• Started installing the building's external cladding
• Begun fitting windows in the Teaching Wing
• Started roofing works on the Central Wing
• Commenced construction of the lift shafts

What’s coming next over the next 4 weeks?

• Continuing foundation works in the Sports Wing
• Further scaffolding and site safety improvements
• Ongoing development of the sports pitches and car parking areas
• Continued construction of the swimming pool structure
• Further progress on external walls and roofing for the Teaching and Central Wings
• Continuing installation of windows in the Teaching Wing
• Ongoing installation of external cladding
• Starting erection of the Sports Wing steel frame
• Continuing work on lift shafts
• Installing filtration pipework for the swimming pool
